Apparently children as young as 4 aren’t too young to be told that gender and gender are different and that their genitals don’t indicate their gender, according to new Planned Parenthood guidelines for parents.
On a page of its website titled How do I talk with my preschooler about their body? If a child inquires girls and boys have different bodies, the abortion provider says, a parent should introduce the notion of transgender identity.
Boys have penises/testicles, that answer isnt true for every boy and girl and while the answer is that girls have vulvas, the organization states. Boy, girl, man and woman are words which describe gender identity, and a few individuals with the gender identities boy or man have vulvas, and a few with the gender identity girl or woman have penises/testicles. Your dont make you a boy or a girl.
Parents should point out for their child, the page continues, that their children can make that decision based on your values, and that genitals do not definitively establish gender and how you intend to talk with your child about gender as they develop.
Critics, mainly from ranks, say Planned Parenthoods encouragement of parents to talk about gender identity with children who havent yet and can string a sentence together learned the alphabet is foolish.

If you do need help talking to your children about gender and gender identity and theres no shame in that please, use actual science as a guideline, rather than garbage propaganda.
The reality is, sex is more complicated today. However, the discussions youll have to have with your children will centre on technology the dangers lurking on the internet revenge porn rather than anatomy.
